April 23
Women of Science & Technology Day, Mat-Su
Grades: K-12
When: Saturday, April 23
–K-3: 9:45 a.m.– noon
–4-12: 12:45-3:45 p.m.
Location: Mat-Su College, Palmer
Event description: Join women professionals working in STEM careers for a day of workshops and fun. This event is open to ALL girls, regardless of Girl Scout membership. Check-in opens at 9 a.m.
Cost: $7/girl, $0/adult (Price will increase to $9/girl after April 15)

April 25
*FULL* Peter Pan Final Dress Rehearsal, Anchorage
Grades: K-12, families
When: 7:30-10 p.m. Monday, April 25
Location: Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, Anchorage
Event description: Watch the final dress rehearsal for the musical Peter Pan! 
Cost: $0
Note: Maximum of 15 people. Register by April 3.

April 28
Yoga, Anchorage

Grades: 4-12
When: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28
Location: Spirit Path Yoga, Anchorage
Event description: Get an introduction to yoga at this special Girl Scouts-only class!
Cost: $5/girl, $0/adult
Note: Maximum of 20 participants 

April 29 and 30
Harlem Globetrotters World Tour, Anchorage
Grades: K-12
When: 7 p.m. Friday, April 29 or 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30
Location: Alaska Airlines Center, Anchorage
Event description: Witness incredible ball-handling wizardry, amazing rim-rattling dunks and trick shots, side-splitting comedy, and unequaled on-court fan interaction with the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters. 
Cost for girls/adults: Varies. See event flyer. Click here to purchase tickets.

April 30
Women of Science & Technology Day, Soldotna
Grades: K-3 9:45 am-12 pm; 4-12 12::45 pm – 3:45 pm
When: Saturday, April 30, 9:45 am – 3:45 pm
Location: Kenai Peninsula College, Ward Lobby
Event description: Join women professionals working in STEM careers for a day of workshops and fun. This event is open to ALL girls, regardless of Girl Scout membership. Registration opens at 9 am.
Cost for girls/adults: $7/girl, adults free (price will increase to $9/girl after April 27th). Financial aid is available.

Virtual Lemur Day
Grades: K-12
When: 12-3pm. Saturday, May 7
Location: Online
Event description: Join us for a virtual online tour of the Duke Lemur Conservation Center as part of the Lemur S.C.O.U.T. patch program. Participate in the patch program at home/with your troop, or just join the online tour for some good-natured fun!
Cost: Free

May 13
Dance Blast, Mat-Su
Grades: 2-12
When: 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 13
Location: Alaska Club, Wasilla
Event description: Explore the world of dance through ballet, tap, West African dance, and Zumba; choreography; and performance. This event meets the requirements of the Brownie Dancer Badge.
Cost: $9/girl
Note: Register by 4 p.m. Friday May 6 by filling out and submitting the registration form. This is a Service Unit event open to all Girl Scouts. Girls should bring a water bottle, snack, and gym shoes, and wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement, and may want to bring a notebook/pencil and hair ties.    

Registration Information

Adult and non-member information:
Non-member girls can become members by completing a Membership Form and paying the $20 annual membership fee.
Troops/groups must always have appropriate adult-to-girl ratios per Volunteer Essentials, unless otherwise noted in the event description.
Individual girl members must attend with an adult, unless otherwise noted in the event description. 
Tagalongs (children of any age who are not participating in the program) are not allowed at events, unless otherwise noted in the event description.

Financial assistance:
Financial assistance is available to girls wanting to attend an event. A completed Financial Assistance Request Form needs to be attached to the Event Registration Form.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellation requests are required in writing (e-mail preferred) to Database & Customer Service Specialist Danielle Morrow.
If a troop/group or individual cancels after the registration closing date, all money paid becomes nonrefundable unless we can fill the space(s) from the waitlist. 
If we cancel an event, all money received will be refunded. 
Waitlisted individuals will be refunded after the event occurs.
