If a troop registers 50 percent or more of its active girls (a troop consists of at least five girls from more than one family) and an adult troop/group leader by June 19:
- Each girl will receive an Early Bird patch and “I can’t wait to” patch, and
- The troop will earn an extra five cents ($0.05) per box of cookies sold during the 2016 Girl Scout Cookie Program.
To register, fill out and submit the registration form. Patches will be mailed out by July 1 to troop leaders and individual registered girls.

Any girl in grades K-12 can become a Girl Scout by accepting the Girl Scout Promise and Law, paying the $20 annual membership dues ($15 for adults), and following safety guidelines.
