Volunteer

Girl Scout of the USA is celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2012! This long history has been possible because of the thousands of volunteers that have stepped forward and said, ‘Yes.’

There are lots of ways to volunteer with Girl Scouts!

By giving your time, energy and talent, you are making it possible to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls across Alaska.

We have staff dedicated to supporting our volunteers.  Contact us today, and find out how you can get involved!

Volunteer Recognition and Awards

Girl Scouts recognizes that what we do would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our talented volunteers. We believe it is important to recognize exemplary service and commitment to Girl Scouts with awards.

Award nominations are accepted any time.  Awards will be presented each year at the Adult Learning Summit, and at Service Unit Meetings and/or other appropriate venues.

Join our Board of Directors

The world needs leadership, now more than ever. Women are the greatest untapped leadership resource. And Girl Scouts is the proven pipeline for building women leaders. That is the challenge for Girl Scouts in the 21st Century…to bring gender balance to the power centers of this country and this world.

Please look over the application materials and think about how you can help strengthen Alaska's girls by strengthening GSAK. We are looking for people to serve on our Board of Directors and board committees.  There's a place for you!
